Fit vs Fiction is a series of interactive workshops that use age appropriate pictures and stories to empower kids of all ages with the tools and information they need to tune out the negative/dangerous messages regularly thrown at them by the media and marketers trying to profit from their low self-esteem. Marci’s workshops dissect the myths related to beauty and fitness so that boys and girls can grow up with the self-confidence they deserve.
Marci’s Fit vs Fiction workshops for adults, are an invaluable resource for parents, teachers, coaches and anyone who has kids in their lives they care about, as they offer crucial information when it comes to raising healthy, happy children in an images obsessed society. Her adult workshops offer tips on what danger signs to look out for, how to spot potential body image/eating disorder issues and practical advice on what to do about it.
